My kids (6 years and 7 years) don't play the game, they just collect the cards. So the bigger sets with 25 energy cards and 6-of-a-kind only give them a limited amount of "interesting" cards to compare with their friends and trade. The foil set was a big hit, I gave one to each of the kids at the beginning of a long road trip and they didn't surface until 4 hours later! They love foils anyway, and now they have a much bigger assortment in their little albums. I bought a few extras for emergencies.
