Bought this for my grandson. He can relate better than I can to the purpose of each card. He enjoys putting the cards in some sort of catalog order (which only he understands). Unfortunately I was sent the wrong product. I received Yo-gi-oh cards instead of Pokemon. I'm working with the seller to get the cards swapped out for the correct ones... it's just a slow process. I have a very disappointed 8 year old. On the plus side, the seller has responded to all my inquiries... they are communicative, it's just disappointment in the eyes of a child is tough to see. I'm hoping for resolution to the product snafu soon. Would love the opportunity to place another review at that time. Am sure it will be glowing.

I am writing this review to comment on the excellent customer service I recieved from this vendor. I ordered 2 sets of the cards (200 cards). I was very satisfied with the cards, they were all new cards (I read a review that said they were used), but recieved multiple of copies of one specific card. When I call customer service they were extremely quick to remedy the problem. I would not hesitate to order from this vendor again.

My six year old Pokemon-obsessed son got this item for Christmas and thinks it is the coolest thing ever.

As a mom I'm neutral...but then, I couldn't care less about Pokemon so what do I know? It seems overpriced for a binder to me, but the picture on the front is apparently essential to being a True Collector.

The downside is that the plastic insert pages in the binder are fixed...if they rip you can't replace them with another page (unlike the 3-ring-binders we used up until this most-coveted-item arrived under the Christmas tree.)

[Added 2 months later: this product only lasted a few weeks of normal kid-level use before the pages in the binder tore right out. As fun as this binder was for my son, I cannot recommend this product due to durability]

I bought three sets of these cards, thinking that I would be getting new cards that are just not in the original packaging. When they arrived, it was obvious that the cards are used and have been handled. Edges are worn or chipped, some are warped or bent. The description says nothing about these being used cards. I think this is deceptive advertising. Basically what you get are all the crappy cards that somebody else played with and then decided they didn't want.

Well, I have been wanting to teach my son how to play the Pokemon card game for some time now. I thought I would order this training set so that we could learn to play over his summer break. I think the product overall is great but, it seem like everything was opened and then put back in the package. Even the extra 9 cards in the origianal package was cut and opened at the top. I will never order from ABCTOY4ME again. If you would like to buy this item please, make sure you order it from a different store. It sucks to know that there are people out there still trying to take advantage of kids and unaware parents. I will not be sending these cards back due to the fact that my son had to wait a week to get them and damn near pissed himself when it got here. I would pay close attention to any items you order from ABCTOY4ME.
